Default Blackberry Support from Carriers ( Rogers and Vodaphone)

Please Login to Remove!

Does any UK or US,carrier provide real BES support, we get some limited support from Vodaphone for our UK BES but we get great support from Rogers in Canada, which has prevented us from buying Tx4 Support, which is pretty pricey..Cingular support for our US BES servers is next to nothing..

I like Rogers BES support better but cannot have them support our UK or US BES Servers. Rogers also supports Goodlink servers i believe..

Is there any carrier in US who provides similar support as Rogers...as part of the device sales to our company??/

You can sometimes convince the AT&T (formerly Cingular) BB Tech Support reps to open a "free" case with Research In Motion for you. But they 1. won't always do it 2. want to run you through all of the "pull the battery for 30 seconds," resend the service books, etc drills first. So it's more time consuming than having TSupport with RIM and opening a case yourself.

T-Moblie and Nextel have done the same for me in the past. Now, we have Tx2 support with RIM, so I just open a case directly.

Rogers Wireless is known to be an expensive carrier (compared to U.S. carriers). It's good to see that you get some extra benefits for your money $$$.

Consistent carrier support beyond simple HH problems is few and far between. If you know a specific support rep and convince them to give you their direct extension you're in luck ... other than that its a crap shoot.

Rogers support for BES is way up there as compared to other carriers in Canada and US. But they have to numbers for device and Server support.Be sure you dialin to the right number.
