Default Goodbye iPhone 4 - Hello 9700

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone,

I got rid of my, "non-working, service hog," iphone 4, and purchased a BB 9700 a few days ago. I've been a long time reader but just activated my account since I purchased a BB.. I feel like my blackberry works amazing so far, and is really handy at all times. I'm a addicted to this (crackberry) I added a 8GB microSD and everything I need is back in my phone. It works just as good as my iphone even better, and I really love it. It's truly a communicator and keeps me in contact at all times... I finally got the 'balls' to buy a blackberry and couldn't be happier.

+ apple users on their forums are complete D' bags and tools.

My brother is an iPhone user and has been since its debut a few years ago. He refuses to get the iPhone 4. I told him to get a blackberry and have no worries

I am a long time BB user who switched to iPhone 4. I am one of the lucky ones who has experienced no problems with my iPhone 4 so far. (But I put an Incipio Feather case on it day 1 -- I had the same case on my Tour and loved it.) I still use a BB for work and will not rule out buying another BB. (The slider which may be coming to AT&T sounds very interesting.)

But I most definitely will agree that the users on the forums are a totally different group. It is very difficult for me to read posts on the Apple forums without wanting to tell every other poster to grow up and get real. Thankfully, I can still read BB Forums to reassure me that there are other adults in the phone world.

The real bottom line is that there is no reason that anyone should expect everyone to like the same phone. People should buy and use what makes them happy, not their brother, spouse, or best friend. (Unless that other person is the one paying the bill.) Sort of like cars -- I drive a Lexus and my best friend drives a Mercedes. Other friends drive F150s and Tundras and so on. No reason we should all buy the same phone. And it's okay.

Its almost like converting to another religion!!! Congratulations on your "CONVERSION", and welcome to the forum! Enjoy it.

9700 is by far the best Blackberry that I had.

I feel like a complete fool.

9700 bought brand new, SIM unlocked it, bought: spare battery, premium stereo headphones, charging pod.

Somehow I got it in me that I had to try the iPhone 3GS experience ALL over again (tried for 4-5mths last year), and traded for a 3mth old nasty scratched & slightly scratched white 16GB model and added $50 on top of my bold for the trade. Not even 3 days out I was feeling like I got to see the kings clothes and spat on. So I took it to Apple Store and a cool rep waited to hear me out - flat out honest - and allowed me to do a warranty swap. Man that made my week!

Now I'm going insane!! I miss the powerful PIM, Call Quality!, impeccable uptime/running time, reliable - if html handicapped - email, and seamless/powerful 3rd party application integration into the core PIM/Phone/Email capabilities. It gets me MAD that analysts that don't know SH*TE from their own pie-hole downgrade RIM.

ok rant over ... time to seriously try to trade this immaculate iPhone 3GS for a 9700 Anyone in Toronto want an iPhone 3GS, give me a PM.

I started with the 8700c. Various detours along the way including iPhone 3GS. Now I have the 9700. YAY! Another convert!
