Tried searching a bit but couldn't find what I was looking for. Is there a flash player or an update for any of the browsers available for the bold that will allow playing flash video?

I would say your best bet would be in a stable release of the new 5.0. If RIM does not include it in the update I am going to say that it prob will not be supported for a bit yet. I would say the same for an SDK browser. If they release it in the the "stable release client" of 5.0 then I would say flash will be next.
