Default GPS Not Working

Please Login to Remove!

I have the 8310 and just upgraded to the 4.5 OS. ATT is my service provider. I can not get the GPS to work. I try a refresh and all I get is zeros. Google maps and Yahoo Go, both cannot connect to the GPS as well. I have removed the battery and put it back in. I have tried to get a signal outside as apposed to indoors. Is there anything else I can do? Is there a test or something I can run to see if it is working?

I had the same issue when upgraded to 4.5. It doesn't work for some reason, so I reverted back to 4.2.2 and it works fine. I called AT&T and told them my GPS is broken...

They send me a new one and installed 4.5 on that one and since then it worked.

Make sure GPS is enabled in the advanced options.

Seriously?

Anyway, I'm having the same problem - GPS isn't working at all and I've installed the Rogers 4.5.0.81

Anyone get this to work who can actually help instead of just saying yes it works?

Thanks

Go to Options > Status and type TEST. Then hit the Menu button and select Start. Then you can select various components to test.
