Default What are the MUST have Blackberry apps?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my new Bold and I'm interested in some of the more popular Blackberry applications out there. Any Suggestions?

Also, see:

Also worth considering, Garmin Maps ($99 for life of your device), Wall Street Journal Mobile Reader, New York Times, Viigo, AP Mobile News.

Quick question about the "Where" application - does it drain the battery? Even though I made sure to shut it down, it seemed to negatively impact my battery life overnight. Is there any way to see which apps are most draining the battery life?

just for me...
1 VIIGO
2 Google maps
3 myspace
4 twitterberry
5 loopt

that's just my opinion. Viigo is just quick and easy to use. Aslo a great source for keeping up on your favorite RSS feeds, weather and news. Google maps, need i say more. Myspace could be better, not all of "RE:" messages appear on it. Twitterberry isn't for everyone. It works for me. Loopt is a cool way to keep track of your friends when they want to be found. Do you remember the "boost mobile" commercials, "where you @"...

man. you are so right about the lack of on board memory. that's what has me looking forward to a "bold" replacement for the bold. they need to throw in a touch screan w/ a qwerty keyboard. not to mention a new os. w/ all of that said I still love the bold.

I'm a simple guy. I like Viigo(mobile link for OTA download), Google Maps, and QuickLaunch.

I personally use REXwireless's IdeaMatrix, but it's not cheap. Worth every nickel, but not cheap. $60 stand-alone, cheaper if you bundle it with other REX apps, but then you're spending more total.

Quick Contacts
FollowUp

Simple & Efficient!
Pocket friendly too, followup works in coordiantion with PeeKawho, nice app,
QuickContact is a must have, quickly converts Email sender in AddressBook,
MySecret Diary is cost effective, very useful, password protected app, best thing is 'search' function for easy location of important entries.

One that I just started using that is not mentioned here is Instamapper.
It runs in the background and tracks where your phone is.
If someone steals it, you log onto a website and it tracks your phone.
Best of all....it's FREE!
