Default can't charge my blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I've tried using my computer and the wall plug, but the little lightning bolt to show its charging only stays on for about 3 seconds and then turns off.
When I try to use my computer I get 'USB Device Not Recognized' error.
Any help? My phones about 10 mins from dieing :(

The only thing I can think of is USB1.1 vs USB 2.0 Maybe not enough power draw from that plug.

As stated here, You will need to install desktop manager as it has the drivers needed to charge the device.

Just the computer, are you having trouble charging it through the wall outlet as well? If so, Have you tried a battery pull. I had a user with the same issue and a battery pull resolved it for him.

Have you tried pulling the battery out with the device on? have you tried another charger? Try narrowing it down to determine where the issue is. Battery, charger, or device.

Try fidgeting with cord! I had this issue and I just have to pull the plug out a hair and bam charging. Granted the port itself is damaged when I got it. But give it a try
