Default No folders on Media Card

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Whenever I use the mass storage option (which is always, I never use Roxio) I open the media card on my PC and there are no folders. I can drop a video file directly in the main directory (without any folders) and it plays on the storm.

So all seems functional, I just can't see any folders like I did with my curve media card. The internal memory also shows up without any folders.

Can someone provide a solution, I would be grateful.

Thanks.

Weird. The only thing I can think of is that they're hidden. Follow the directions here and you should be ok

Can you view the files/folders when you do not enable mass storage? Some people may receive a message indicating that some media files might not be accessible in mass storage mode. If the media card is brand new, did you format it first before using it? Have you tied removing the card and then reinserting it?

I'm formatting the media card right now, I hope this does the trick.

I never did do it when I bought the phone, just thought I didn't have to.

Okay, reformatting did the trick, now I have two external drives when connected, one for internal memory and the other for media card.

Thanks for the advise.
