Two things about the WAP site:

1. The Sticky threads still say Sticky, as opposed to the red Attention we are starting to use.

2. When making a new post in the BST thread the text field does not auto-populate with the criteria for proper posting, as in the normal site.

I can NOT edit either of those. Like I said before.. besides the minor themes.. i cant touch any of the code that is within wiforums.. Its against their terms of service agreement.

Very cool. Love the interface. Is there a way to set the default post order as DESC?

Apparently there is no way to change this.

Any way to show more than one post per page? Am I missing that setting? Right now 18 posts equals 18 pages.

At the extreme bottom of the thread page is a menu. Item 2 is a setting for post order. I set this to DESC back when I was using my 7290 and haven't had to change it since. Just checked today and it's still there.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! If I had actually read all the posts above I would have seen this very question had already been asked and answered.

I see that the BB version doesn't handle ASCII characters well. Apart from that, I may now prefer to browse these forums via the BB rather than the desktop.

Sorry, don't know what's different then. One thing though, I never log out. Just leave the site. Depending how long between visits, or if my cookies have been deleted due to user error or reload, I may have to log back in but it has stayed the same once set for me.

Sorry I can't help

For a long post you will see it truncated if you turn this on.

Aside from posts-per-page adjustments, everyone should run through every preference option and decide what changes they should make.

One setting that will greatly improve wireless browsing pleasure will be the WAP Option - which is set by default to "WML". If you're using a newer handset, the "XHTML-MP" format will load a wee bit quicker and maintain a more standard screen layout.
