Default Some BIS email not hitting handheld?

Please Login to Remove!

-BB8800
-TMO using latest BIS version
-Also on BES

On one of my BIS email accounts not all of the messages are arriving on the handheld? Some do, some don't.

NO filters set on this particular account (but I do have filters set on the BES)

I've sent the latest service books and I have done a search.

Any ideas?

TIA

Are you using Outlook? If so, do you have "Leave Messages on server" checked under the advanced setup?

Issue fixed itself. No clue why it happened. Worked fine for a month, with no changes on my end, then went nuts for half a day, and now seems to have recovered.

Yes I am using Outlook.

Exactly where would I find that "Advanced Setup' tab.

Emails will typically be 15 mins behind if you have an "additional" email account set up on the blackberry. the instant "push" is only achieved if you forward emails to your BIS email address. However, with the new Blackberry 8700G OS from T-Mobile, Gmail is constantly checked and arrives instantly.

The BIS network checks your email accounts typically every 15 mins. If you constantly receive emails or receive a substantial amount of them, it checks it more quickly.

Actually, if you are using GMAIL or Yahoo, it is now pushed immediately.
The new BIS update allows this.

It's in Outlook. If you're using a POP3 account with Outlook then Outlook needs to leave email on the server. The option is found under your email account settings. You'll need to open the settings for the email account in question and buried in there are the advanced options.

Sorry, my Outlook is configured only for Exchange email so I can't really walk you through the steps.
