Default SIM card question

Please Login to Remove!

Yes i know there are many other threads with great info but nothing like this. Basically i just want to know can some programs for the blackberry not be available because of the wrong SIM?

I am currently using my SIM from my I860, which i used on my I90 prior to that. Since the blackberry i bought didnt come with the SIM, i figured i just put my current SIM to see if it would work. Well it did but i noticed that some features are not avaible. My browser isnt available, bluetooth is disabled and there is no download option. The SIM is the problem correct?

If so, ill buy the SIM for this specifically and do the changeover. Thanks.

1) Do you have the BlackBerry Data Plan on your account. No Data Plan, no browser, no Internet, no download.

2) Did you buy a used BB? Is it possible that there is an IT Policy on it, which disables Bluetooth. Bluetooth can normally be enabled via the Options section, and then paired.

I've never heard of programs not being available because of the SIM - a provisioning problem, possibly.

A much more difficult question. It has an "IT Policy" pushed onto it by the prvious owner's company. The only way I know how is to get onto a BES and have a default (blank) policy pushed to it. Sorry.

I checked the IT policy and it said, "IT policy Name: Default"
