Can an 8320 sim card be copied, so it can be used in 2 phones at different times? Called T-mobile and they said it could not because of a sim card identifier number, but with all the aftermarket software and ebay usb clone software, wanted to hear an unbiased answer from a moderator. Legal issues aside, can it be done so you don't have to remove a sim card from one phone and install it in another for use.

You are talking about cloning a SIM card. It can be done but is generally not talked about in the open forums. It is very illegal.

It would be very nice to do this and you are not the first to think of it. The carriers would be quite upset.

Yes it definately can be done, but usually for a reson other than avoiding the hassle of swapping it when you swap phones.

sorry to ask this...but is it a time consuming and difficult procdure? And how is the network going to rcognize 2 different numbers in 2 different cell areas?

If you use them both at the same time you are guaranteed to have them shut off.
