Sometimes, my 8830 seems to strip extra returns and spaces from mail that it sends. To my recipients, the message looks almost as ugly as me and very unprofessional. I can't figure out why it does this or how to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?

I do not use a BES, I send my mail directly through the blackberry and the bell mobility phone service.

Are you sure it isn't on their end? Outlook is often configured to automatically strip extra line returns and such from emails. Usually near the top of the message you'll see a line that you can click on to add them back in.

Yah, that is what I thought at first too. But it seems that people with a wide range of e-mail clients all get the same damage (lotus notes, eudora, outlook, and outlook express). They can't all be setup that way.

On the flip side, I am still suspicious because it does not happen to EVERY e-mail i send. Just some of them without any ryhme or reason that I can detect.

Your emails leave the BB as pure text. Nothing more.

The way Outlook or another email reader might translate and or handle the email to view--you can't control.
