Try but it will be very surprising if you are successful. As stated above, your option is to return the phones if you are within the trial period otherwise you are most likely stuck. All vendors (in US) now have this policy for smart phones. If you want one, you have to pay for the data plan.

I've never made someone take a term on data unless they were getting some sort of promotion, subsidy on a phone, or a discount.

I have been refused month to month hosting after phoning support and by a dealership as well. At the dealership I was prepared to sign up for month to month on the spot. A friend (who received the same treatment) signed up for a month to month contract with Fido, purely so he could switch it to Rogers (on a month to month basis) at a later date.

If you give folk better treatment Noodle22 you are to be commended.

My contract with Telus expires this summer and I will take another look at Rogers at that time. Thank you for responding.

Well actually over $50,000 because it was bellsouth then and we had the brick and I remember paying $600 a month. I will try this and let you know if lucky.

I just looked up BES and BIS, both options are offered on month to month.

For BES 40 for 7mb, 45 for 1gb, and 75 for 3gb.

For BIS 25 for 500mb, 30 for 1gb and so on.

All offered on month to month, 1, 2, or 3 year term.

This is internal information I just checked, I'll check the site later on and see if it clarifies the same as well. If so, you can argue the point to them that it shows it is avail on a month to month option. Never hurts to ask for a manager too. I often get mistransfers who are told I am a manager, so I've dealt with these types of situations before.
