Post T-mobile UK Pay Once Deal -Moving from (packaged phone) Pearl 8110 to a Storm 9500?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I currently have the 'pay once' 12 month package (blackberry email and internet) from T-Mobile which came with the Blackberry Pearl 8110. I recenltly purchased an unlocked Blackberry Storm 9500 and popped the sim card hoping it would work straight away. I wondered if someone could tell me how to setup the email and internet on this phone - which was originally working in the Blackberry Pearl. I have tried the 'switching devices feature' using the Desktop manager but that didn't seem to do anything.

When I first entered the sim into the Storm, it asked me if I would like to move devices but after trying this - it failed. I then tried to enter my email address and password (in email setup) but all i got was the message 'Invalid email address or password' error message

I have tried host routing table to send the registration message.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards,
Daniel

You need to use the CHANGE DEVICE option on the BIS page (t-mobile) to the new BB PIN.
This will then associate the blackberry services with the Storm.
It should then send its service books to your new device, adn you should be fine.
