Hit Menu on the Home Screen and select Add Folder. Give it a name and an icon and Presto... there's your folder! To put stuff in it, highlight the icon you want to put in and press Menu-> Move. Then, move it on top of the folder and click your ball. It's in there!

I know I just posted, but this is worth repeating. Why hasn't a Sirius player been made to work with Blackberry? WM5 is one of the easiest to use players ever for windows mobile and Sirius radio, why not the equivalent for BB?

I have my 8330 set up so that when I press M my messages application opens up, when I press L my calendar opens up, when I press Y my Yahoo IM opens up, I press D for my memopad, O for options, B for the webbrowser, A for address book, and U for calculator.
Just turn off dialing from the homescreen.

I wish there was an option to hide all the icons on ribbon. Because i hardly use 5-6 of them. but rest of them that i use are available thru shortcuts.

a simple program to keep track of time and activity for my job...
ie;
have 3 modes, work, rest, and period of availability, and then log how much of each has been done, over a 2 week period, the ability to warn me when i'm getting close to mandatory rest breaks would also be very usefull....

English-Chinese and Chinese-English bi-directional dictionary based on the latest CC-CEDICT UTF-8 database with pinyin support. Basically, a CEDICT capable reader with search capabilities. DfM has an app along these lines, but the app fails to install on any of the numerous devices we have on hand. Current MSDict and HNHSoft offerings are useful, but not nearly as comprehensive enough for advanced learners.

You won't ever have video capture on the 8100--unless RIM reveals a hardware modification. Right now, that is not a software fix for the 8100.

Isn't that possible with certain themes... blank homescreen themes. I have seen them in our Media Section here.

I would like to see the same. I'm sure that the Bold has the horsepower to run a SIP client. How can we get someone to build one?

This may already exist but I'm looking for a great simple weather app that shows the weather w/ a single click. Everything I've tried so far either bundles a ton of crap or doesn't work....

You can do either speed dial (dial from home screen ON) or program shortcuts (dial from home screen OFF), but not both. I know you can set up the speed dial with your own choices, but I don't think the program shortcuts are configurable.
I like the idea of combining the functions...
