Cool Wiping Blackberries

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys

This is my first post here

I have 50 old work Blackberries which were on BES ( Mix of 8100's & 8310's ) with BB OS 4.2 and different passwords.

Now, I want to completely wipe them and also remove the IT policy.
I have come up with this procedure :

1. Wipe BB using javaloader -u wipe [WIPE 1]
2. Upgrade OS to 4.5 [WIPE 2]
3. loader.exe /resettofactory [WIPE 3]

OR

1. Wipe BB using javaloader -u wipe [WIPE 1]
2. Blank policy.bin using Desktop manager.
I tested using the Blank policy.bin and IT Policy does not appear anymore on the BB but SECURE GC ENABLED is shown instead.

Please help me out with the quickest way of doing what I want.

Thanks!

You need OS 4.5 for that to work, I believe.

The GC enabled is probably coded into the Policy.bin file. The best way would be to do option 1.
