Default "unable to connect to internet" ?

Please Login to Remove!

Just got my 8330 today and was trying to launch the browser application and i keep getting the "unable to connect to internet" message. ive gone to manage connections and the service status says internet service connection "not connected"? same thing with the server service? i know this might seem like a basic question but do i need to turn on a particular setting for internet? is so where do i start? any help would greatly be appreciated..

ive read in another post that 1x means no data plan available? i do have a data plan but maybe it wasnt applied today during activation? i dunno im stumped?

Hi

It does sound as if your activation is not yet complete.

Try going to options> advanced options > host routing table then hit menu key and select register now to see if that will speed things up.

Activation is usually quick but can take up to 24 hours or more.

You could also try calling your carrier to ensure the plan has been applied to your account.

i followed the above steps and the message said "sent".. sent where though? i didnt recieve any message? i will try my courrier service in the morning? thanks for the help.

I do have the data plan, ive been all over this phone and cant seem to figure out why i cant connect? in the manage connections folder it says "not connected" under internet service?

It sounds like a call to your cell provider is in order.
