Default "Do you want to turn on mass storage mode?"

Please Login to Remove!

It also tells me I might not be able to access some media files in this mode. From reading other responses here I see that I can't use Desktop Manager to put things on the card. So, the question is as stated; do I want to turn it on?

If I load an application to the card from Windows Explorer, would I be able to run it from there?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, turn it on. Then you can go to My Computer and drag and drop files to the removeable drive. The message just means you can't see the card from the device while it's in mass storage mode.

No, the device will only recognize media files (music, movies, pictures) on the card.

For installing compatable 3rd party Java apps. you can drag the .jad and .jar files to your media card (in same folder)and then install the application to device by executing the JAD file. You must go into the native Media app and then click "explore" from the menu and you will be able to access your Media cards files from there. However when the application installs it will still install in the device memory and not the media card.

Hope this gives a bit more insight.
