Here is the modified BlackBerry.ALX file so that you can load the other vendor's themes. This is the file that came with the .180 software and has had the vendor ID tags removed from the theme files.

I personally use the O2 today theme, so I thought I'd provide this to people that are not familar with how to edit the blackberry.alx file themselves.

This is critical if you applied the .175 version; .180 will not load until you delete VENDOR.XML

Good luck
Mine went from .175 to .180 perfectly without deleting the VENDOR.XML

Yes, everytime I do an upgrade and the wireless enterprise activation takes a long time - it seems to take the longest amount of time between 50% to 70%. Several times, I too thought my unit got stuck as it would seem to "hang" at 50% or 60%, but wireless activation always completed. I would give it some time.

Okay - so I just got my first BB ever - the Curve! Even though UPS tracking results still had it at only origin scan and scheduled for delivery on 10/23 LMAO. It came with .171 so I doing an upgrade now to .180 - it's in the last stage of the update! I was having mucho problemas with the T409 and was on my third replacement, and battery replacement and sim card replacement so CC sent me the Curve for a very very nice price (especially considering I wasn't eligible for an upgrade price) since I was having problems from day one - the thing just wouldn't stay connected to UMA...
