I took a screenshot but there's not an option to attach it since I'm on my phone but its a number 1 on the top left side, its looks like the notifications one but its not a notification because I've checked all of them, its driving me crazy. I've restarted my phone several times but its still there! I don't know but I think it could possibly be a notification I erased without actually looking at it first but still it should have dissapeared when I restarted the phone right?

If you can't post a screenshot, you need to try to describe exactly what the notification icon looks like.

Lots of things can have a "number 1 on top".

Ok I managed to add the screenshot here, can you see it?

Go into every app you have that puts notifications and check. I have a hangman game and even that sends me notifications sometimes.

Also on the homescreen (not application screen) where you have a wallpaper see if there is an icon next to the number. It may be black meaning you might not see it on a dark background.

Try setting a white wallpaper and then looking at the icon so it shows up against the black background.

It does have an icon. It looks like the voicemail one but its really small and has 3 dots on top of it.

My guess is that is theme controlled. It is where the number of messages reside. In the them that I use, it has an icon for the type - i.e. mail, Social Media, voice mail, etc.

Check the messages folders and see if there is something there. I have also seen bogus text messages show up. A battery pull usually erases those, so also try one.

I think it may be a message that I got but that it got blocked. I tried pulling the battery out several times and restarting my phone but the number's still there. Pls help me out
