Default Battery going dead Fast

Please Login to Remove!

I have charged my tour twice today and the battery is at 2 cells. How do I check to see what is running in the background...and would that cause this?

I am sure the FAQ can help you, but I would pull the battery to reset it. Also if you are in a weak signal area and your device is constantly searching, can really kill the battery.

On the home screen press and hold the menue key until a list of running apps appears. Select the ones you want to close by opening it and exiting the app. I am relatively new at this but that worked for me. I found I had several apps running in the background and that helped to keep my battery from running down.

had this problem, turns out it was slacker playing in the background. i had muted it and started pandora instead but it was still draining. this was also slowing down the internet.

One tip to remember - always close apps rather than just exit out. Closing will generally turn them off/shut down whereas exiting out just might leave them running in the background.

Turn blue tooth and GPS off, they are battery drainers.
