Tried using the TELUS bis site, unable to login yesterday and today

all those BIS sites are blackberry.net domain, i don't think they are hosted by the carrier but by Blackberry

I've got the greatest timing ever. I was in the Nextel store upgrading my 7520 to a 7100i yesterday around noon. Thankfully last night around 10PM I was able to get in and point it to the new device... I can at least send e-mail from it now but still nothing coming in! Nextel BIS looks up, but you can kiss the 'Profile' section goodbye!

That's correct. Each carrier's BIS is located at the RIM NOC.

Yesterday it was taking 2-3 hours after messages hit the server to reach the BB. Today, they're not getting through at all. Cingular Cust. Service says they are unaware of any problems, but "will look into it."

I have Cingular and have been up and down all night and this morning. Has anyone gotten any info as to when this will be fixed?

On Cingular here. Done as far as I know (mine is up and running. It went down last night, but its running like a horse now)

I haven't received an email in 3 hours and they are all sitting there on the web client...on hold with Cingular now.

According to Cingular Data Service, RIM has acknowledged that it is their problem, but they are unable to give an ETR as of 1:00 PM CST today. Anyone for text messaging?

It's been up and down. I just got in. Mail is making it to the BIS but not the phone. I got two e-mails on my phone today, one a test and the other the activation notice from pushing the service book. Any e-mail that BIS pulls from my other accounts (bulk of my mail) has NOT been pushed to the device. D'oh!!!

They had better get it together fast. I cant imagine the heat RIM is taking and how much more they will take if it's not rectified quickly. This could be as much bad press as NTP if not resolved soon.

My email (blahblahblah@rogers.blackberry.net) from 12:10 PM is starting to filter in to the BlackBerry now at 3:06 PM.

(I haven't had any problems accessing BWC and the emails arrived there right away; they've just taken a long time to come to the BB).

Right now - my outgoing emails are delayed by 40 minutes.

Nextel BIS is down at 3:08 EST (Jacksonville, FL)
I am getting all of my mail pushed to me with no problem.

Maybe there is a big upgrade!

Nextel BIS down in Plymouth, Michigan. I am getting mail and sending, but cannot access BIS. Upgrade, upgrade.
