Greggster,

You need help. Consider your life without a blackberry. Is it really that empty?

Nothing in Gainesville, Florida either. Not even demo models in the stores.

Empty? I have already met with 4 of my best customers today. Bid on three other projects, met the electronics people about installing a new NorthStar Navigation Mapping GPS on my 33' Grady White and now am eating lunch. I have a meeting at 1:30, 3:30 and 5pm. The one at 5pm is to close the deal on painting the exteriors of a 37 building apartment community about 2 miles from my office.

Empty? What have YOU done today!

You tell 'em greg. That guy has done nothing but throw out negativity since his first post.

Some people can work and check a forum at the same time.

Nice reply!

Called every store in the Phoenix metro area-- none of them have them. Some expect them later today, some next week, some have no idea.

Called about 5 stores in Orlando, and none of them had it or knew when it would come in. When I pointed them to their website and asked why it is not available today like the release says, they did not have an answer. (Big surprise)

Default Curve

I have been waiting for the Curve for a long time, it will be my first Blackberry. So I called a couple of stores yesterday. One in Flower Mound, TX said they had some and would start selling them today. So on my way out of town I stopped by there a little after 9:00am. The store wasn't even opened. The two guys inside apparently didn't notice the time or didn't want to open the store. I asked for the Curve, guy went and got me one. He started to ring me up and then said sorry it is not in the computer system I can't sell it to you. Even though he knew today was the release date. He took it back from me and told me to call back in a few hours. He then stated that he couldn't hold it either. I wanted to tell him to take a flying leap, but I just walked out of there. He was pretty rude about the whole thing. A store in Denton, TX has a couple, hopefully they still have one in a couple of hours when I can make it out there.

Default Chicago

Chicago downtown area mostly says next week. One store, though, says they are expecting a delivery later today - he took my number and said he'll call. I'm skeptical but also optimistic, if it's possible to be those two things at the same time. We'll see.

If anyone else in Chicagoland knows more I'd love to hear from you....

This is ridiculous. The phone's released today but a majority of the stores don't have it. I called to order online and the quickest shipping method offered is shipping out within 24 hrs. and 3-5 days for delivery.

I bought the one I stated arrived in the San Antonio, Texas corporate store at La Cantera. Had a upgrade issue, with my account, but argued for two hours and it worked out to $299 with a two year contract that mandates at least a $39 voice plan and a $29 data plan. There is a $100 rebate in the form of a ATT card you can use to pay a future bill or accessories with.

The store had no 8300 accessories, and as someone stated, the phone does NOT come with a leather case. Purchased one that fit for $30.

Four other stores in my area either had them yesterday or on sale today. My Bronx corporate store at 151/3rd ave didn't have anything in today. Never thought NYC would lag behind SA, but there it is.

Went right into the store in Milwaukee this morning when it opened. The guy knew exactly what I was talking about, let me mess around with the demo, checked his inventory......and nothing. He took my number and will call when the shipment comes in. I just called them again and no shipment yet. Those curves better show up!

Almost seems like the 8800 rollout. The stores in TX seem to have received them first (closest to the distribution warehouse?) and then other parts of the state got 'em.

It is a whole like the 8800 roll out! Have both my corp stores on the lookout, they are due their delivery around 2pm. If not on todays, it will be on tomorrows. By 2pm tomorrow, UPS or FedEx will have delivered the one overnighted from AT&T!

Made the mistake of telling my VP he had one coming and he had the never to ask if the first one was his! Yeah right!

Too many posts here indiacating no stock at the local level so I feel they are in the delivery system for tomorrow. teh 8800 did not get to out local stores till the day AFTER, so I am thinking this will be the case!

Talking Gotcha!

AT & T fellows,

Apparently AT & T has tricked you and made you believing that BB 8300s are in stock today

But it is not end of the world and you can always defect to T-Mobile
