Default Database Missing: BES Server Help !!!

Please Login to Remove!

I have a huge problem. I have no backup. My Database for our BES server has been destroyed. I can not not open BES enterprise manager, because it can not fine the BES database. However, our Blackberryes are working fine. Is there a way to recover or fix this this issue ?
thank you...

Truer words have not been spoken, but I'll bet you'll have backups from now on.

I doubt anyone can help, but in case - how did the database get destroyed? What happened on the machine? Can it be that a service just did not start up? Have you taken a look at your event logs - see what happened?

The DB server crashed. Yea, it was an oversight on not backing it up. . How can the BES server still be working if the DB is not available ? Also, what does the DB contain ? Does it contain the licensing information ?

The database is the lifeblood of BES. Without it, you're basically screwed.
The handhelds will continue to operate until you try to reboot the BES. Actually, after several hours without the DB, your BES will fail.

WITHOUT THE DATABASE, DON'T SHUT DOWN BES OR TRY TO REBOOT IT!!!

Call RIM, pay for a support incident, and pray they can help you recover the database.
If you can't recover it, then you have to start from scratch and reactivate all of your handhelds on the new database.
Hopefully you don't have too many.
