has anybody ran into a missing sync icon after installing the software, i have tried 4.2,4.2sp1 , i have used this software on other pc's with no issue, but even after doing a clean uninstall, more than once, it still will not display a sync icon in the software, win xp environment, 8800 series bb

Try loading DM version 4.2 SP 2, or 4.3.
