Default OS10 more secure than OS7?

Please Login to Remove!

After using an iphone for a while I went back to BB with a 9900. (Last model with the auto on/off feature I will not do without)

Happy with the phone generally, but was wondering if anyone has solid info on which OS is more secure: OS7 or OS10?

NB: I don't assume that newer means more secure.

Default Re: OS10 more secure than OS7?

All non OS10 blackberry's are still the top in security. the OS 10 devices use a less secure system that allows various Android apps to be loaded that can allow security holes. If a user does not add any unknown apps or apps from a less secure position then you can generally not have a problem.

The Blackberry is still the leader in security and does not have the holes I-Phone and others have.
