Default We have 25 BlackBerry 8700 (R) Extended batteries

Please Login to Remove!

Through a mixup at RIM we received 25 Extended Battery Kits that came with what appears as 8700R doors... kind of a deep dark blue or black color (not the TMO steel blue). They match the 8700c extended door in shape which also leads me to the 8700R.

I have not been able to confirm the precise model designation of the kits.

If anyone is interested in purchasing these please let me know as we are not going to display on the website at this time.

We are not shipping to Canada as of yet (few more weeks).

Same as the 8700c kits... http://store.bizshopr.com/rimacc-10470-001.html

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to make it sound like this was a fire sale... I just wanted to let people know we had these since it's rare in the USA. The dark door actually looks good on the 8700c.

Those who wish to order these just order the 8700c kit and in the drop down box next to the "add to cart" button select the 8700r.

It depends on availablility of various kits... once they stablize availability it's pretty likely we will have doors only - for special customers

Default Extended battery and door

I have an Australian 8700 and received an extended battery and door from Blackberrystuff in the USA. The battery fits but the door does not and I think the door is for the 7100 which seems to take the same extended battery. Any suggestions where I can get a door and /or an extended battery with door for the BB 8700 ?

I know..wrong forum..but Would the Tmobile 7100t extended battery door work with the 7100g? My girlfriend is always killing her battery..and I'm thinking this might be a great present for her...I think I'll pick up an extended batt myself.

They may have stuck you with the 7100t Ext battery as well. The battery needs to be a C-H2. The older C-H1 will not work in the 8700.

The Extended batteries of every variety (per phone model) will fit in an OEM case... RIM designs the elastic as such.

The fortte case is another matter - since I don't have one I can say how it will fit. You would have to expect some stretching since the EXT Batt is several millimetres larger. Does fortte build any elastic in the case?
