I just upgraded my Alltel 8330 to 4.5.0.77 and now I'm not receiving MMS messages. I did successfully send one though. Any ideas?

Since Alltel's MMS on the Curve is wonky at times to begin with, I'm thinking that your chances of it working correctly on a non-Alltel version of the firmware is doubtful.

Or.. Try and resending your Service Books from your BIS account setup.

I accessed BIS from my phone and resent service books after doing a hard reboot on the phone. So far, still no MMS.

Hey what area are you from i know that in certain areas they are switching service to EVDO so that is making everybodys MMS worse than normal

Try uninstalling Docs to Go or at the very least not doing the free upgrade that gives you the spreadsheet piece. I had never been able to get my MMS working until someone on another forum told me they ran some tests and determined that Docs to Go was somehow conflicting with MMS. I didn't do the upgrade when I upgraded the OS to 4.5 and VOILA - my MMS is now working flawlessly (knocks on wood)...

mine isn't working either, although I was on 4.3. I am about to upgrade to 4.5.0.77 and see if that helps. I sent the service books multiple times, pulled the batter, and nothing changed. No MMS.

Can you receive videos, audio, etc. Or can you only receive pictures. When someone sends me a video I may get a still of it and a message that says " a video message has been sent to you< to view go to axcessmypics.com" Has anyone one else had this problem? Oh, i never get audio either. I had mms on the 4.3 and now i have 4.5 with mms but still get the same message. And I have no option of retrieve data.
