Default Vodafone 3G BB ??

Please Login to Remove!

I heard something a few months ago about vodafone working on a 3g version suitable for Japanese use.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Since BBs are RIM devices I doubt Vodafone would be working on one

there will be a 3G device. Voda/RIM are working on it atm. this will be really needed when the MDS component becomes the driver.

Lets be honest here... Voda is not 'working on it' and have never worked on a BlackBerry device (the 7100v was a business/marketing deal for a device RIM was making anyway).

RIM would be working on it - Voda (and a bunch of other carriers) will take advantage of it whenever RIM releases it.

Have you guys considered Vodafone may be making a phone with BB Connect?

Sharp and now VK (I think that's what their called) make most of the Vodafone branded phones in the U.K.; they might put BB Connect into one!

And pigs might fly!!! What I like about BlackBerry is what I like about Apple Mac, because they control the hardware and the software, everything integrates seemlessly, and everything works. I'm not sure I'd want to use any non RIM device - I lasted about 2 days with the Siemens SK65 and don't even get me started on the Nokia communicator!!!
