I installed a GPS app (Spot skylab-mobilesystems.com) on my 8820. The icon appeared on the screen fine. It ran okay.
Later I went to access it and the icon had disappeared. The desktop manager software says the app is there.
I've un-installed & re-installed the app.
I've re-booted the 8820, even removed the battery a while.
I downgraded the OS then upgraded and re-installed.
Nothing brings the icon back. Still the software says it is loaded.

Other apps load and display fine.

What is going on here? Anyone else run across this phenomenon?

Have it moved itself to a folder? Applications or downloads for example.
Has it been accidently hidden? Menu - show all

Well, I failed to mention 'Show All' does not make it appear.
I looked for a folder and saw none.
