Default Reload Software 552

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and looking for a little help.

Last night, my blackberry screen just started showing this "Reload Software 552" message and nothing I do can get my phone back in working order.

I've downloaded the latest version of Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0, but I can't seem to reload the software using that program. Each time I get close to updating software on the Application Loader program, it says that it is not detecting anything connected to the computer (even though it did detect my blackberry just a few minutes ago). I've also tried going through my computer's C drive to remove some of my more recently downloaded Apps, but that doesn't seem to be helping either.

This whole experience is very frustrating and would greatly appreciate any pointers that you guys may have. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to wipe my 8900, but for the life of me, I can't get this to work either.

I've tried both CrackMem and JL_Cmder but neither is working at all.

I have a MacBook, but am running Windows XP on VMWare Fusion.

Could this be a reason for my problems?

Instead of using the Desktop Manager, use the Loader.exe file. You can find it here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

As far as teh MacBook, as long as you are using Fusion, I don't see why that would really matter.

Good luck!
