So far, I haven't seen the SMS send/receive problem crop up on this release but I will try sending from various spots where I know the EDGE/3G signal changes. On UMA I haven't notice a problem yet.

Anyone else?

OK...

Well, I ran the 'Mobile Backup' function under 'Options' in the 'Contact' database and it reported success and the 'notes' field doesn't have any added text.

Sorry I couldn't help you out...

Maybe that does help. I didn't realise you ran the sync. Was it the ATT sync? Are you running .424?

Actually, like I just posted, I just ran the 'Mobile Backup' function to test and see if I got the same "dummy" text as you....

Open 'Contacts', click on Blackberry button and select 'Options' then scroll to 'Mobile Backup' and select 'Sync Now' with 'Wireless Synchronization'checked.

I have no idea if it actually synchronized with my T-Mobile account contacts (online) but will check when I get time.

Like I said, it reported success and my contacts didn't have the "dummy" text you seem to have.

Your "mobile backup" must be a t-mobile feature, as I do not have that option

On the first sight most things work, no problems here with contacts or BBM.
what does not ist the cell tower location in BBmaps, this worked in the .358 version. Only GPS now.

Does this beta release work well with Slingplayer? I went back to OS5 a couple months ago due to problems with Slingplayer and OS6 compatibility and haven't tried any beta OS 6's since.

I'm also getting the disappearing cursor issue, frequent little black clocks, etc.
That cursor thing is kind of a deal breaker.

BB new reader in OS 5 works better than social feed for 6.

Otoh, I'm really liking the the wifi music sync.

Probably going back to 5.0.0.10** this evening when I get home.

It doesn't look like it. It opens and connects but never loads audio/video. I tried to see if there was a newer version of slingplayer mobile but their site won't let me because the browser isn't identifying itself as blackberry.

edit: i played around with slingplayer a little more and it definitely connects to the slingbox successfully because i can control my tv but still no audio/video. i tried changing all of the permissions to allow everything but that didnt help. I don't watch slingplayer on my phone that much so it's big enough of of a deal to roll back to os5 but it is kind of annoying

Just loaded this to see how 6 would work on my 9700. So far I really like the new interface. Doing my first sync now and am concerned it is showing 24 contacts (I have over 2100). So we will see how it goes.

Figured that out... a popup was behind the active window which was switching my profile to "FACEBOOK". LOL... I never use FB. Switched back and synced up. So far 6 is really nice.

Occasional disappearing cursor like in address book. But hopefully an update will clear that up. My UMA and all apps loaded without a hitch.

Well I changed nothing but slingplayer works fine today. No idea why it didn't work before.

I've had this since release now and its practically working fine. Biggest problem I think now is the memory leak really!

I think the biggest problem (maybe a good time for a poll?) is the ongoing cursor issues. A real pain to have to 'find' the cursor after scrolling down especially when entering information in multi-field applications like contacts.
