I currently have verizon and when the contract runs out i am going to switch my plan to sprint for their cheaper BB unlimited data. I plan on getting the curve. Would i be able to have my Gmail on it? Also any things i need to know before getting a Sprint Blackberry Curve? Any info will help. Thanks.
Sprint doesn't offer MMS, so if you use that now, you can't on Sprint. Sprint doesn't charge a monthly fee to use the built in GPS on their 8330. Just make sure you do your homework before switching - Sprint customer service is widely held as the worst in the industry and they are losing over 1mil customers per quarter. Sprint network coverage isn't as good as Verizon either (according to multiple studies and reviews, including JD Power's annual studies.)
I have 2 Sprint curves and haven't had any issues with them that were not self inflicted. kjjb0204 is correct that you won't be able to use MMS to send pics, but there is a rumor that when Sprint releases the 4.5 OS for the curve, MMS will be available.
I haven't had any issues with coverage where I have used mine (Michigan) and haven't had any issues with customer service.
BUT, you're wise to do your homework no matter what carrier you're moving to.

When I was looking at the plans online it said the plan i was going to select would have unlimited picture messaging? is it just not with BB's or what? and anyone who has a sprint BB curve let me know what you think about it. Also will i be able to put my gmail for free on my Curve?
Those types of plans are highly recommended if you can afford them.
In our family we have 2 BB devices and 1 Krazr. We recently switched to to the Talk/Message/Data 1500 plan which has made life (and our bill) so much easier to manage. We share 1,500 minutes and can use as much data and messaging as we want.

Alright thanks. juwaack68 do you recommend the curve on the sprint network? has your overall experience been good?
I do recommend it. Just make sure you know the return policy inside and out in case there is something you don't like about it (be it a feature or coverage or whatever).

You can get to a LOT of sites (many sites are formatted to be 'mobile friendly') but not all sites are formatted for use on a BlackBerry. It's not the same as browsing on your computer.
