Do you find that you miss a lot of calls when using Yahoo Messenger on your Nextel Blackberry?

It seems like when I'm chatting over yahoo, people get booted straight to voicemail.

Or maybe it's just an extension of another issue I've had where I won't get a ring for a call but I'll get a new voicemail buzz. (probably due to low signal)

I don't have the yahoo messenger but I know the same thing happens with the BB messenger. How do I get the yahoo messenger my 7520 didn't come with it.

This happens on my 7250 as well. Especially when I'm running IM programs, or receiving plenty of email. iDEN, CDMA, and GSM cannot handle data and voice simultaneously. GSM is somewhat better than the first two at recovering, but none of them are immune. The Blackberry is not at fault--any device operating on these technologies will experience similar issues.

For this reason, many choose to have two devices instead of one.
