This is total BS...

I like RIM, I like working with their techs, but why in the **** do you release a product and make it almost impossible to find a extended battery for it.
I have been all over the web, all over this site, and nothing, well i take that back, i did get a few batteries from one source in Canada but I am unable to reach him anymore.
You go to Verizons website and it says nothing about the "door" for the battery.
The reason i dont order from Verizon is because my rep, and their tech people have no clue about anything I ask.
Many sites on the net say "Extended Battery w/door" which leads me to believe if it doesnt say "with door" then it needs that important piece, and Verizons site doesnt say that.
Anyway, it shouldnt be this difficult to locate a battery, and since every site on the planet says out of stock almost constantly, why DOESN'T RIM get a clue and MAKE MORE?
You cant even find the batteries on their own site shopblackberry.com...

Verizon has them I just got one.

I don't know about the Verizon model, but I have 70 of Extended Battery + Door on order that I have placed since May. Among them are 70 of Extended Battery + Door for the 8700g. I sold out of the 7130e for Sprint and wished that I have ordered 50 the first time. But hey, have to learn the hard way.

Anyway, I got a word from my Distributor that they will receive it within the next 3 weeks. Since RIM ships them via container, I believe it should also include their newest designed accessories.

I have had this on order (sprint version) since one week after sprint released the 7130e. Both places I have ordered with keep telling me that the ship dates get delayed every time they come up. I guess the difference in the other carriers and the sprint version is the color (black vs....gray?) and I cant even get one of those. Still waiting.

I just ordered the 7130e extended battery from the Verizon site, and to my surprise it came with the door, and the door is actually the same color as the 7130e! Fits perfect and looks great, I had the extended with the black door but the black door just looked horrible, this one is great!
