Have the Samsung 8330. It is connected by USB cable to a computer which is connected to the internet. I should be able to connect to the internet as well. The connection is a gigabit rate and I should be able to download data at a much higher rate.

Most of what you're saying here doesn't make much sense.
Not sure what a Samsung 8330 is. Doesn't sound like a BlackBerry device.

What exactly are you trying to do with this device? Can you explain your requirements in a bit more detail?

No Sprint BB has a gigabit connection. The 8330 has an EVDO Rev 0 chipset. You might max your download speed at 1.5 MB at best.

Do you have the Phone as a Modem option on your plan?
