Default GlassyBerry v1.0 Theme Released

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys,

Ive decided to make a public release of my theme for the Blackberry Curve called GlassyBerry. You can get it OTA here.

GlassyBerry is a work of love; many hours have been spent making it look so good. If you enjoy it as much as i do, please consider donating a couple of bucks securely using Paypal from your PC. Thanks for your support!

UPDATE: Zen Version is now available!

UPDATE: (9/13/07) Dialog window width reduced to fit the symbols dialog.

UPDATE: (9/15/07) Sorry, this theme is no longer public. In 2 days, it was downloaded 2726 times and i only received 3 donations for a total of $15, which i truly think is unfair.

Thanks to Bryan, Day and Eileen for your support, i'll keep you posted with any future private updates made to this theme.

Enjoy the theme.

Default Message font vs message list font

this theme is great....2 questions:

1) Is it 'by design' that the message list font stays the same no matter font you set in screen/keyboard? mine is staying the same

2) there is no 'saved messages' icon..again by design?

Very cool though!

Ok since you won't do the ubuntu thing is there any way you can make it an icon or zen style instead of "today" type theme.
It looks incredible and I would def switch to it but I can't bring myself to use that today style type of themes. they are my least favorite.

1) Didnt notice that, ill give it a look.

2) Actually the saved messages icon is there. Maybe is hidden by default? Try showing all icons.

Sorry guys if you find issues, this is my first theme ever created.

Well, i like Today themes and i created the theme for me but thought you guys would like it too. I guess that if theres enough interest (i.e. donate people!) i'll take the time to create the Zen and Icon versions.

Regards and thanks for your kind words.

The day I download a well executed Zen theme of this style, I'll donate! Let's see what you can do! =)

Oh, and if I may state a preference, I prefer the Zen style with the icons along the bottom of the screen, T-Mobile Zen style.

Thanks man, hope you get rewarded for your hard work!

Red face Ya Know

I admire people like who that have the talent to do these things. I also think that when you offer it to everyone for free it is very generous. The downside to it always is that people are never satisfied and always wants something more or different. I hope that you don't get discouraged by this and continue to provide us (less talented) people with the nice themes.

Thanks dude for the theme it looks great and I appreciate you for releasing it

Wow man. Great job. Nice turnaround time too.
One little oddity I noticed. I went to options and then advanced options and then application. and when i got the popup that said "building application list" the text displaying the percentage was too big for the surrounding window and so was cut off a bit.
Only "bug" I've noticed so far, besides it looking like vista instead of ubuntu

Would it be pushing it to ask for just a regular icon style with no left-handed 5 icon thingy?

Hey, jxlarrea, thanks for your hard work. I don't have an 8300, but I appreciate your generosity.
