Default Found Bug in Today Plus???!!

All, I believe I either found a bug in the Today + theme from RIM or I need your assistance with a setting. During the outage yesterday, when things were running sporadically I got an SMS message from a friend and it showed up in the "Messages" part on the home page. The problem is, even after reading and then deleting the text message, it still shows up on the home page under messages and will not disappear! I have no idea how to get it to stop showing up - typically when I get an email it shows up there only until I read the email, then it disappears. That is not the case with this one SMS!

Is this a bug or is there something I need to set to make it go away? Thoughts?

You could try the Mark Prior Opened trick that I've used when the 1 Unread Message won't go away with e-mail -- I have that issue. I have my SMS/MMS separated out, though, but the option exists there as well.

Hope it helps. I haven't had this issue with a text so I haven't tested it. Otherwise, the other thing I would try if it were my phone would be a battery pull. I have to do that sometimes with BB messenger. It'll say I have a new message in an ongoing convo, but, then when I open the convo it won't show the latest reply. Very strange. Only a battery pull fixes it. *shrug* Happened with all three Curves I've had.

Battery pull fixed it so thank you very much. I kind of feel like even though it is not difficult to pull the battery, it is kind of ridiculous how many more times I have had to do that with the Curve than I did with my 8700 and all previous bb's. They need to work out those issues with the software

Here's some screen shots I got with the two themes, a little better quality and you can really see the look.

Is the Scribble theme available in an "icon" version or do I need to press the BB button to display all the icons? I love the them but I prefer an icon style desktop.

Silly question.....are my seperate E mail folders supposed to disappear from the applications menu?? In other words, my ******@hotmail.com and my *******@att.blackberry and my *******@yahoo.com and my work e mail folder is gone. Any way to get it back?

Thanks in advance.

in regards to the TODAY + theme....is there a way to rearrange the icons on the today side (i.e, Message, Calendar, Call Log, Applications) or is this set permanently?

i know on the zen side, you can move any icon on the top 5 and that is what shows.

After looking at them some more, I can honestly say I hate the Scribble and am throughly disappointed in the Today +.
