Default Won't delete Gmail emails on BB

Please Login to Remove!

Good morning,
I have been experiencing something really annoying for the last 2 days. I have both my work email account and my Gmail account set up on my BB, in two different folders. When I try to delete emails from my Gmail account on my BB, it replaces the sender by "0 items" and put a star on the message. If I try to delete more than one message at once, the message "Deleting" with the little clock appears and won't go away.
My work email folder works fine though. Also, my phone will still show these "deleted" (now starred) emails as unread, even though all emails on my phones have been read.
I deleted my Gmail account on my phone many times and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled the enhanced plug-in, check the synchronization options, everything. With no luck
This is very recent though. I've been using Gmail on my BB for months and everything was just fine till a few days ago....
If you experience the same thing and/or know how to fix this issue, please let me know!
Regards,

OP3

I've always had issues with Gmail and my BB... I just don't use it anymore via BB. Sucks, but not worth the trouble.

I agree with the poster above.

1) Install the G-Mail Plugin as a backup if items are not syncing correctly for you.

2) Remove the current G-Mail acct and place back

I already did all of that, multiple times. I also turned the phone off and on again. No success.

Thanks!

Default Please see my message to

BDunn in "Removing Specific Contact List" in the General BB forum where I basically said that it was dangerous to use Gmail or Yahoo as email client.

To be clear, you have tried deleting with the stand alone G-Mail app

I don't believe this to be true or good advice. I know many people that use both these services with great success, myself included. My g-mail account is forwarded to my handheld and I also sync the g-calendar with google sync. I have absolutely no problems.
