Default Websites and Java

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried to look at several websites on my Tour using the BB browser and received errors to the effect that Java was needed. Some sites work well but anything with java seems to be a problem.

Example pandaexpress.com menu items do not display, just a little error message on the top complaining about Java.

Is this a weakness in the BB or do in need to set something/down load a helper application?

Hey Tim,
I have tried the link in your post. Although a little funky, when you pull up the site, open your menu and at the top click on page view. I was able to work all the links from there. You can also select page view in your browser options. I am on a BB Tour with OS 4.7.1.57.

Still not able to to see "Menu Items". When I click it says "NOTE: You do not have the flash player installed or have javascript disabled"

Browser Configuration options are set to "Support JavaScript"

I see the flash etc. too. I think it's just a blanket statement. Here's how my browser options are set:

Browser support, everything is checked except support java script and using blackberry browser.
General, set to column view although in menu I clicked on page view. Everything else is checked.
The only other thing I can think to do is download Bolt browser. That always works for me if I can't use web pages properly with BB browser. Hope this helps. Any moderators want to check this one?
