New here so bear (bare?) with me. Ive read the discussions on the sound profiles and coming from the 8330 I see the difference with my new tour. My question is why when I have my email notification set to "silent" am I still getting an audible alert?

Did you change the profile from normal to another one? You have to set settings for all of those profiles as they are selected. Or did you set all emails to silent they have different settings for different emails. If you do the corporate stuff.

Thanks Sydman. When I switched profiles back to normal from loud it stopped. I guess I just figured changing it in normal would change it loud too.
