HELP where can I find the old softoken 2.1?
hi
i was using BB7290 4.1 RSA 2.x till 2 days ago, due to a sw problem I reinstalled the device.
new rsa softtoken is now version3.0.
rsa says; "Note:
Requires 128-bit (AES) software tokens. No support for 64-bit (SID) software tokens.
"

i know my token is quite old ans uses SID.

where can I find the old softoken 2.1?

thanks to all of you.
I received the 2.11 almost immediately from several forum members.
it works as expected.
the rsa software 3.0 does not support old SDI "softfobs" .

anybody having this problem with OS 4.2.2? i have some 8310 devices running on 4.2.2 and we just don't succeed in importing the token. our provider didn't release a newer OS yet, the problem we have with the RSA app 3.00 is that we receive an "invalid sdtid file" error

Sorry, but it seems you did not read this thread at all before posting your request.

Domenic72 explicitly offered to send the 2.1.1 application to forum members several times and it is obvious that a number of other forum members actually have a copy of RSA 2.1.1. It is also obvious that it cannot be downloaded from an official source anymore.

RSA released 3.01 today. Supposed to work for OS 4.6 and most earlier ones above 4.1. They've provided an ota install as well. Unfortunately after installing on my 8330 the device restarted upon token import - and the token wasn't imported.

Anyone else given it a try?

Wirelessly posted

Well, I later read the release notes and find this (rebooting) is a known issue with 4.3 and some other versions. Will update and retry.

I've upgraded to OS 4.5.0.97 on my 8330 and installed version 3.0.1 of the SecurID app, however my BlackBerry still reboots when importing the token. According to the RSA website the issue should be fixed with OS versions over and including 4.5.0.86. Anyone else have the reboot problem with an OS over 4.5.0.86?

Unhappy

Tested both 3.0 and 3.0.1 on the Bold and they both work. Only thing is that with 3.0 I had to push the token from the BES since it would not import from the email attachment.

Problems continue on the Verizon 8330 with 4.5.0.77. When I push the token from the server, the device reboots and now every time I click on the RSA app, the device resets.

Will use 2.1.1 for now I guess,

I have the same device with the same software and I've tried the 2.1.1 with no success. How did you get it to work?

same question here. Keeps rebooting when token is pushed on 3.01. Even tried upgrading to .97 on the curve. Still no luck. I have a ticket with RSA support, but they seem clueless as well.

I think I just figured it out . You have to wipe the handheld completely and upgrade to .97 version, then it will allow you to install 2.1.1.

You still can't send the token via email, but it will allow push thru mds.

Hi
I have a 8310, running v4.5.0.55 and have the latest SecurID 3.0.1
I previously ran the SecurID software no probs but since upgrading the Blackberry, the token disappeared. I thought I needed to upgrade the SecuriD software so did. Previously an employee at RSA SecurID said that to get the tokens into a Blackberry, you need to add x-rimdevice in front of the file name, and then email the file to the device... This worked perfectly last time, but this time, when the device receives the email, the attachment is actually the original name before the re-naming procedure??? How on earth did it do that??? I've tried loads of times but am now stumped. I know that if the email came in with the same named attachment, it would probably download OK... How can an attachment rename itself en route?

Software opens OK though and menus accessible - just no token
