Is there a way to delete the other groups such as: favorites, media, download, frequent, etc?

I'm on the same boat. There has to be a way to simplify the navigation ! I tried all config menus at no avail. If you happen to figure it out, please post the solution.

The first answer is the answer. No way to change it using the default theme. You need to try any number of "trayless" themes out there. Although with a lot of them, you don't get the slid-up feature of the homescreen.

Set your BB home screen up how 'you' want it. Try "Morph" by Gray Matter Themes

Just beware, there is a learning process to make the adjustments you want.

I was tempted to try morph after trying different themes. I prefer to be able to have a simple today screen which will show me a preview of calendar and messages at a glance. The one I have recently settled on is Zetter. It took a little work to find a download for it, but it's a very clean simple theme that lets you hide the today previews if you want.

If you hit the end key it takes you back to the "all" page. Not really a huge deal, just an inconvenience. It's as if they think we are too xxxxing stupid to use folders and need some wonky, annoying feature to compensate for it.
