You'd be surprised how durable the tempered glass screen is.

That is your personal experience. Of the three I own or in my family, I have not experienced any of that.

Is this a serious question? (Not trying to be rude..) The Curve is way more rugged, if you drop the iPhone once you can break the whole screen apart...

I own both and it depends on what you mean by rugged. The iPhone is a more solidly built device. Yes, if you drop it from 3 stories the screen will shatter. My Curve now feels poorly made, like very light plastic, but would probably survive a high fall better. Moral, don't drop your phone!

I was working at a site and the antenna mount dropped and with it's corner it hit the Curve sitting on top of the ladder then caused it to fly down the hallway about 10ft. It scraped off some of the 'M' and 'SYM' keys and dented the case between them but the case did not break and there have been no issues using the keys. I'd like to see the iPhone handle that.

Well most reviews says that the iPhone is indeed durable and the tempered glass screen gives a great advantage against BB's Curve.

I think the curve is more durable. Mine gets dropped very frequently and it functions perfectly. I even dropped it in a cup of water where it was completely submerged for several hours, took out the battery, let it dry out for 6 hours turned it back on and it worked perfectly. Its VERY rugged if you asked me. I havent had as good of luck with any apple products.

Depends how you drop it and on what. On concrete, then yes the screen is probably toast. On most drops though, the screen is more then tough enough to survive.

I have a scratch on my ipod touch screen...glass isnt scratch proof by any means...its made of glass for a reason...because its constantly being touched..I fear a grain of sand did this to my ipod touch screen.
