I am receiving the following error message when attempting to setup my GoDaddy IMAP account on my new Z10:

"The server for account (account name) [imap.secureserver.net, port 993] can't be reached. The settings might be incorrect or the server could be temporarily offline. Check your settings and try again.

All my settings are 100% correct. I've had no problems with any other IMAP account on this phone except my GoDaddy account. GoDaddy themselves had no idea what was causing it- and even asked me to let them know if I figured it out!

Any ideas?

According to this, your settings are not correct. It looks as though you need to turn off SSL.

Fixed it. Fortunately there was no need to turn SSL off to get it to work.

The problem was I was choosing "Email, Calendar and Contacts" when I should have been choosing "IMAP". This was a little strange as I choose the first option when setting up my other IMAP accounts and it worked, so I also expected this to work with my GoDaddy IMAP account.

I didn't change any of the port numbers, server names, or other credentials- just made a different choice right at the beginning.

So that was my GoDaddy email problem solved.

I'm still having serious problems getting my Zenutech email account working. This one isn't user error...
