I have one but big question!
Can I use Mac OSX for firmware upgrade?
If not, when can I do it?

I rise this question because I have one Mac with Parallels on it. Last time, when I tried to update firmare for my BB using Windows OS via Parallels, my phone was not be able to connect to Blackberry Desktop Software on Windows for further step.

Do you have any idea how to do it on Mac?

Parallels has problems with the USB ports functioning properly. You can use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software for Mac to update the operating system of your BlackBerry but you're only going to get the latest software from your carrier. The Windows client is still more robust.

My suggestion is to find a friend with a Windows PC and do it that way.

I keep an old IBM ThinkPad around just for this sort of thing. Otherwise I'm 100% Mac at home.

I picked up a little Lenovo ThinkPad x100e, specifically because I wanted to be able to have a PC to function with my BB. My ThinkPad is having some serious issues at the moment, but it's actually ended up be kinda fun to use. There are still times when having ready access to a PC comes in handy.
