Default Why is my Bold doing this?

Please Login to Remove!

I have my bold which uses a 4GB SD card. For the longest time i've had no issues but latley i've been having some quite annoying issues.

For some reason, my bold will make copies of random picutres I have stored on the memory card. These copies are corrupt and can't be opened, they also can't be deleted.

Sometimes it will make 4 or 5 copies of one picture. Sometimes the picture shows up as a thumbnail, somtimes its just that wierd picture icon with an arrow.

I have no idea whats causing this but its increasing my picture folders with these copies that don't work and can't be removed. If i just leave it like this, eventually its gonna fill up my memory card with these bogus, corrupted ****.

Any ideas?

Try a battery pull.

I have done multiple battery pulls as well as quickpulls and it removes the corrupted picutres, at least from my view, but it doesn't stop them from making new copies.

move the pics you want to a PC, format the media card, move back.
if it persists, it might be in the pic files themselves.

I've had the same issue. Pulling my files off and formatting the card, then moving them back, fixed the issue.

Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000)

Thanks. I will try the card format and see if that helps.
