Default Is my phone dead?

Please Login to Remove!

My phone was off this morning. When i turned it on everything was fine, it went to the home screen....then it slowly started going white untill the entire screen was white.

I pulled the batter because it would not shut off. So i plugged it in to charge and left it.

When i came back, it won't turn on at all. I pulled the battery again, and got the red LED to come on....but thats it. It'l stay on, not blinking or anything for a few minutes then go off.

I don't understand why it won't turn on at all. Any suggestions?

Are you leaving it connected to the charger, when removing the battery and replacing it?

No i disconnected it. I don't have a wallmount, i have to use a USB and my PC to recharge it. PC did not crash or anything while connected to the phone.

I'm trying to charge it now but it won't charge via the PC anymore. I did a quick check around here and this seems to be happening alot latley to alot of different people.

Doesn't matter what battery is in there, it won't boot up. Just the red light comes on for a few minutes. Phone has not gotten wet, i haven't tried installing or removing anything from it....it just sort of crapped out for no reason.

EDIT UPDATE: Okay so i decided to switch USB ports, used the one in the back instead of the front of my PC. Red light came on, then a white screen with a battery and lighning bolt icon. I assume that means charging, but i've never seen that screen before. Now it keeps switching from battery icon white screen to black screen with red LED.

I guess i'll just leave it for awhile and see what happens.

yep, leave it to charge a few hours and then with it STILL connected to the charger, remove the battery and replace to reboot. It should reboot.

If not, or you still get the red LED only, you're gonna need to use BBSAK or JLCmder to wipe and load the OS.
