i'd like my BB to automatically call my iphone if it's receiving a facebook event. i've tried google and such but couldn't find a solution for it. :(

the point is that i'm always having my iphone earplugs in and sometimes can't feel the vibration. :/ so i'd like my BB to call my iphone once and immediately hang up, so that it interrupts the music for a few seconds.

does anyone know and if that's possible? thanks in advance!

(please don't shoot me if it's not...i've tried searching but am maybe too stupid atm - night shift isn't too good ;))

I don't think it's possible, why don't you just use your BB to go to Facebook anyways?

i do but i'm listening to music on the iphone - i sometimes can't feel the vibration, sadly. :P yes, it's already set to three times...:P

my girlfriend is using fb a lot, she's sending me messages all the time when she's at work, due to our different working times atm. ;) i'd just like to notice when something is arriving...sure, i could just pull it out of my bag but that wouldn't be...what a true geek would do! :D

Get a bigger memory card for your Bold and put all of your music on there, sell the iPhone, problem solved! LMAO!

i like the ipod functionality of the phone tbh...while i dislike the BBs mp3 player :P

I had the same set up there for a while, tried the iPhone for a while, just couldn't justify having 2 phones. Scrapped the iPhone and got an iPod Touch.

How about setting the FB alert to a song, and then put it on high, that way you'll surely hear the song and it will keep playing until you stop it .

On my BB, When i listen to music and I get a txt or FB message, i hear notification in my headphones overtop the music.

However, if i get a call, it rings through the phones external speakers and not the headphones, thus resulting in alot of missed calls.
