The default BB browser search engine offered by TMobile is yahoo. I can change it manually to google but whenever I exit and re-enter the browser, it switches back to yahoo. Any way to leave google as default search engine?

Hmm... I don't know if you can permanently change it. Mine is set to Google by default -- must be a carrier thing. As a workaround, you could bookmark Google and have your browser start on the bookmarks page. Or make Google your default start page.

If you start up the browser, go into OPTIONS > BROWSER CONFIGURATION you can't set your home page to google.com? Thats what I did...

Yea, I just set my home page to google.. I find that the works the best if I need to get a site that isn't in my favorites.. Especially becasue Google has a mobile option.

That is what I feared. It use to show google as default search engine but changed to yahoo a couple of month ago.

I do not want to have google as my start page.
